Kynoch
Kynoch (Coryton Refinery) site in Corringham.
Female workers at the Kynoch explosives factory.
The factory was critical to the production of explosives during
the First World War, so much so, a small town along with its own railway line
were developed nearby.
Only black and white photographs remain of the original uniforms
so the volunteer dressmaker would need to improvise with fabrics and design
with a small budget. If you think you can help, please contact Diane Lee on …
